Using Your Search Results

After searching for materials using your own keywords or selecting from one of the predetermined keywords, your search results will be returned in this format.

Center Square

Here, you can see which search term or keyword(s) you used to locate materials. Brief instructions are included to help you navigate your search results. You can also access the Help section and this Tutorial from the center square.

Your Search Yielded

This box shows you how many individual PowerPoint slides, activities/handouts, and full presentations are available on the CORE site relating to your search term. To refine your search, enter additional keyword(s) and click “search.” This will search within your existing results, which will narrow the scope and number
of materials.


Clicking on these tabs allows you to see the available individual PowerPoint slides, activities/handouts, and full presentations yielded by your search. The “Slides” tab is the default setting for all search results. (For more information about downloading individual slides, please click here.) Click on the “Activities & Handouts” tab to view and download the associated PDF documents. Click on the “Full Presentations” tab to view and download the complete PowerPoint presentations yielded by your search. Only the full presentations related to your search term(s) will be listed here.

Slide Count in Your Presentation and Download File

This box will show you how many individual slides you have selected to include in your presentation. You can download these slides as a PowerPoint file (PPT) or as a compressed file (ZIP). More information about downloading individual slides is available here.
